Re: What is gluvit?

When it is mixed it is thick but flows and creeps. A great epoxy product and if you own an aluminum boat it is priceless.

Re: What is gluvit?

Is it used to just repair cracks or coat the whole hull?

Re: What is gluvit?

It seals leaks and I would not use it for a crack repair. Repair the crack wnd seal it with gluvit. It could do the whole hull but that would be a waste and at $55 a can!! I would strictly do seams and repaired spots.

Re: What is gluvit?

BTW 2 good gluvit tips:

Be absolutely certain to stir the gluvit can..... it settles thich at the bottom of the can. This must be stirred not shaken (Sorry Mr. Bond!)

When mixing it asks to be mixed for 4 minutes and it will need all 4 to start reacting with itself.
