My cherokee is 16'.The rear caps are the same,the white pleated dash is the same,the transom is the same,two oval plates on transom,m6-10141-b and f-10701 ,supports look the same ,I have my floor completely removed for restoration,windshield is also same.I don't have close up pics yet,I have to find out where my daughter put my camera when she gets home,will have tonight.I think I can load some others that I have.

Interesting... definitely some really strong similarities. I'd love to see some pictures of your floor supports/ribs since you have the floor torn out. I think that will be a big clue.

just snapped some pics ,remember most things have been removed.gonna flip it over and strip and paint this week hopefully.I don't think my pics loaded will try again if they don't.

Lone Star or Feathercraft it ain't. Doesn't remind me
of late 1950s era Crestliner either.
My best, undereducated guess would be Starcraft.

So at this point I'm pretty sure it isn't:

Looks like 03vrod has solved the mystery. The mystery boat appears to be a Cherokee.

...and the biggest tip-off to me, the two oval plates on the transom.

Now I just need to actually find some information about Cherokee - and so far that isn't proving real easy.

Have you started on the boat yet.I should have mine painted by the end of the week if the rain will hold off.We really need a Cherokee for everyone to see maybe we can spark some interest in them.

I know its an old thread, but. I have two of these boats. Actually just got the 2nd today and get this for free. I have the open top three bench Cherokee fishing boat as well as the run about that has been pictured. The runabout actually still has the plastic Cherokee badges on the rear of the boat. Both have the oval plates, unique bilge cowling, and massive gunnal caps. The runabout has a hull plate on it. Hopefully I can get pics if your interested. This little RaB looks like its been on the water for a total of one or two seasons. Then the rest is just from sitting.

Like I said I know its an old thread, but any info is good in my book.

I have a Cherokee also. I always thought it was a Mckenzie but didn't know it was a Cherokee-Mckenzie. But I still don't know which model I have?
