The design strikes me as late 50's model, Holiday maybe (if there was one then). That windshield might have been a replacement somewhere along the line.

At that price with a running 50 Johnson on the back, looks like something to think about

It looks extensively remodeled, and that windshield does not look like it is original. It does not look to me to be quite as deep as a Holiday or Jupiter... perhaps the Nassau? The coloring looks 50'sish if its original

Is this the HIN/USCG tag?

Ask the owner for a CLEAR pix of it or for the info: Ser# & Model, may even have boat length & max HP rating....

The replacement windshield looks ok, but the pix is a bit fuzzy to see how well it 'fits' the contour of the bow & gunwale

But the included ad pix make it look like a nice rig for <$1K.

Well, I'm gonna try to swing by his house on Sunday when I am in the area.

I was thinking 50's as well, not sure what it is, or if I want to deal with it.

But might be out of cash by the time I get there though.

I may be missing something but that Sylvan looks a helluva lot like a Super Sport....which is to say it is a Super Sport. Were they manufactured under a different name ala Ford Crown Victroia/Mercury Grand Marquis?

And that "Sylvan" is a steal!

Because Starcraft, Sylvan, and Smokercraft were all owned by the same (Schrock) family.

And they apparently sold bare hulls in some sizes, to Blue Fin.
They have the Blue Fin HIN on the transom, but are identical to the Starcraft hulls.
