what is max RPM for 150GT

I have a 1990 150GT and just want to know at WOT what should I be looking for?

The factory recommended 4500-5500 as the "normal" operating range. That engine will still make good hp up to 5700-5800, so bursts to that rpm should not be a problem. When propping for best overall performance, you should try to hit the upper end of the "normal" operating range: 5500-5800 rpm. Running max rpm's at 4500 is considered lugging the engine and that is not good in the long term. It will result in poor performance and poor fuel economy.

The max RPM is the maximum revolutions the motor can turn at before things start coming apart and flying past your head..........

.....however we don't endorse this as an actual test method!!!!
