The radio dramas are probably an equal pile of fun. I haven't seen much that I liked either televised or in the films.

That was the first I heard of it. A guy I worked with back in 1982 had recorded them from the BBC onto (wait for it....) cassettes. :facepalm:
He bought them into work and we all loved them (the engineering guys)... I still have the audio books as MP3s. I thought the TV and movie were pish! I've read all the books, but sadly lent out the first, and haven't seen it since...
