What is my gap?

No laughing now...stop it!<br />I have a 74 Merc 65hp. The manual is in the mail however the temps have reached 40+ and it hasn't snowed in 2 weeks. I'm anxious to get my "new bride" wet! I have a few other minor cosmetic needs to complete and we're out there. I need gap spec's for NGK plugs. Does it matter what type plug? My inner voice say's no.

Stay with the surface gap plugs the engine was designed to run on them, it's not a OMC, weak in the poop deck ignition
