What is my motor worth?

I have a 1978 Evinrude 115 with T & T. It has a rebuilt powerhead (it has 6 hours at the most on it), rebult carbs, new stator and power packs, new water pump, new thermostats, and the lower unit has been rebuilt. Everything has beed gone through on this motor. It runs perfect. Starts right up and is full of power. It is almost done breaking in. I am curious to see what it might be worth. Any input would be great. Thanks.

Mike,<br /><br /> I would guess around $1000 assuming that it looks very good and relatively rust free.<br /><br /> The problem with the term "rebuilt" is that this means so much. <br /><br /> Sometimes these motors are better off holding on to versus selling.<br /><br />John

"Blue Book" shows low retail of $ 235.00 and average retail is $ 280.00
