I had great luck with "Vertglas" on my old and dull mfg gypsy 15. Really brought up the dull to a shine. But like the others said depends on the depth of your glass dullness. All said and done it was enough for me to be happy with.
The boat is a 1975. She shines off quite well.
Yes they are. I just used 3m Restorer wax to get rid of some oxidation on my boat. Then I followed it with West Marine's house brand polish (with PTFE). Beautiful results.
Yeah JS, my boat is pretty shiny already but it has places that if you wax on it the spot will stay shiny for about 7 hours then it starts to fade in that spot,What does this mean?and well i guess that using cheap wax like I did probably didn't help
Are you applying wax with a polisher, or by hand? I was applying wax by hand for several years, but this year I bought an electric polisher and use the techniques that friscoboater demonstrated in his video. BIG difference in the results. I'm still kind of blown away by the results I got since I only started yesterday. - Joe :joyous:
