What is the best way to clean rings

I want to clean my cyl and rings in a 99 optimax 200hp, runs good i just got it and it still hade the same plugs from 11 years ago and ran well!!!! I changed the plugs and noticed some carbon so who has the best way to clean

Seafoam.

Other than that, remove the powerhead, split the crankcase and pull the pistons/rod assembly out.
