im still running the stock prop on my old 1955 evinrude fleetwin 7.5, i was wondering, since its a 2 cly, and everthing, can i use a 3 blade prop? and if i can or cant, post a link thanks
Hi NitroBoy,<br /> I believe the 2-blade is the only prop available for your old Fleetwin. I've never even seen a 3-blade for that model in the books. As for your tilting problem, the mechanism for tilting moves upward, then forward or rearward to the next notch. If the motor has been used in salt, that mechanism may be frozen up. You'll see the dentents in the clamp bracket castings...<br />- Scott
