What is the boat manufacturer? (I have searched a lot)

Last night I picked up this 14' aluminum boat. There isn't a hull ID tag on the back or a place that there ever was one. The only numbers are on the inside bottom of the transom but those are 5 digits without letters. I called the Wisconsin DNR and gave them the license tag but was only told it is a 14' NORT. No other information was on file.

One of the things that stands out to me is that it is double riveted. It is 62" wide and 13.5' Long

I searched all day yesterday online looking at pictures and most of this morning to no avail.

Any help would be appreciative

Does the tag on the front bench have anything legible?

With the name "14 Nort" on file, I would venture a guess that it is a Northrop Grumman 14 ft. Aluminum utility boat. Grumman made a lot of Aluminum Canoes and utility boats. Judging by the tumble home stern and the rivets on the seam between the hull and sides, I'm going to guess an older model (mid to late 60's?)

With the rain today, I now noticed there was a decal on the side that says Northwood. So, at least I know that. Now I am trying to figure out at year and model it is.

The hull looks like an old Sea Nymph R14. Now if they made a Northwood model I don't know. MirroCraft also had a model by that name but it doesn't look similar.

I believe Bwana Don may be onto something as the bow cap and transom corner cap castings looks fairly unique.

The OCD in me wants to know what it is for research purposes. Also when I go to the DNR this week I want to get it registered correctly. Someone at some point registered it with Wisconsin DNR as a Northwoods without a serial number for purposes only he would know. I do agree with Bwana Don that it is a Sea Nymph 14R, but what year?. All of the other Sea Nymphs I have see have some plate attached to each seat. My boat does not have those plates or marks where ones could have been. I did email Brunswick Boat CO, who took over Sea Nymph (Lowe), but have not heard a response yet. Lowe boats have the same bow cap as mine.

Bwana Don, on the inside bottom of your transom is there might be a 5 digit number. If you still have the boat, could you let me know what those numbers are? I am trying to do a comparison of my numbers to your numbers.

Well after a long search I have to agree with Bwana Don and say it is a Sea Nymph. I went to the DMV to register it and they didn't make a fuss. All they asked was what length, type, material, the year and make I believe it to be and if it used an outboard.

I thank you all for the input you have given me
