i pulled the drive off my alpha gen 2 and have some oil leaking out, i think its the drive oil resivore, its on the left side and right between the two bolts

Ok, why did you reverse the picture.
If you are actually looking at the bellhousing on the boat, it should look like this.

Not this, it's backwards
