This black wire was loose when it came back from the mechanic shop...it connects to the "mercathode"...any help would be appreciated. What does the other end hook to?
TO try an explain it better...one end is attached to the "mercathode" and a black wire runs from it and was just hanging near the water pump area....where should it be attached at or to?
I replaced the alternator and thought i had it wired up properly but the engine doesnt crank or even click. SO thought this black wire might have something to do with it.
