I connected my batteries to a jump box after the boat was sitting for awhile, and the starter was working fine initially. Then it just clicked like the battery was low. I checked the voltage and it was 12.8 when key not turned and 12.6 when key turned. I connected my remote starter switch, and the starter worked fine again. The only thing I could find out of place was the item in the pictures behind the gauge cluster. Does anybody know what this is? Could it be what’s stopping me from getting a good connection to my starter?

I’m having a hard time finding anything called a switch contact to purchase. Is that something I could buy by itself, or would I need a whole new ignition switch?

Switch contacts are not replaceable.
You need a new ignition switch.

Recommend doing some basic troubleshooting before breaking out the "Parts Cannon"
