What kind of outboard is this?

Hey all. I like taking old outboard and gettin them runnin again. This looks like a good project I just dont know much about it so im seeing what you all do. the price seems fair too.

It looks an awful lot like a Mid-Jet, made in the 1960s. Lower unit looks more like the one used on the Starling Jet, though. Interesting... A Google search should give you pics of both...

Turns out its pretty much one of a kind. The fella who made it used to work for evinrude back in the day. Then started making his own motors. We'll see how it runs once I get it fixed up.
