what kind of paint should i use

on my 86 wellcraft 192 american what kind of paint should i use? it is fiberglass. do i just sand it down and paint it or do i need to primer it? very new to all of this! thanks

The best way to start getting some information on paint is to use the red search button at the top of the page, type in "painting fiberglass" there will be a bunch of stuff to read. After that you will have many more qustions specific to your boat and we can go over those.<br /><br />Have fun reading.

use a "mono-thane" if brushing, or 2 part urethane if spraying. no primer needed if the surface sands out smooth
