WHAT KIND OF PLUGS FOR MY FORCE

hello i got a 1995 40 force i was told buy another guy to put ngk plugs in and get rid of the flat ones its got the flat ones in there know he said to put ones in like you car has and gap them..... would it be ok to do this????

Mercury calls for a NGK BUHW part # 97180. Any Mercury dealer will have them.

I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT FORCE AND MERCURY ARE DIFF THERE FOR I SHOULD LEAVE THE PLUGS IN THEREDONT REPLACE THEM AND PUT NON RESISTER IVE HAD 2 MECHINCAS SAY TO RUN RESISTER NOT THE GAPPED ONES HELP????
