what make is this boat.

i recently bought this boat and there is no H.I.N. or compliance number on it nor is there any make, model or year. does anyone happen to know anything about this boat. it's a 14' fiberglass mono-hull. below is the classified add where i found the boat. you can view pics of the boat here. thanks any help would be great. ad says thundercraft but i googled it and they dont look like this.

I think that the description states that it is a Thundercraft. They were a rather nice fiberglass boat made in several configuration during the mid to late 60's

i checked out some older thundercrafts and they dont look like this. but it could very well be that. thanks, shawn

May be a Glaspar. In any case, it's a fun boat. I ski(past tense) behind one many years ago, in the '66='68 era. A Classic 50 Merc will work nicely if the 40 HP Johnson gives up. Have fun!

In the 50's and 60's there were literally hundreds of fiberglass boat manufacturers. Some only made a handful of boats. Most were very similar to that one in style to IDing it is going to be very difficult.

That ain't no $1000 boat.....

i got the boat for 400 because the kid needed the money for school. its actually in nice shape. all i had to do to it is recarpet the floor with marine carpet.

thanks. i actually just sold it. cleaned it up and re-plywood and carpeted the floor, got the motor running and sold it for 1K cash. so i bought a 14' grew with a 1971 evinrude 40hp ski twin for $700. it's a grew ss130 in great condition. came with a tilt trailer. not a mark on it. even the convertible top is in good shape. a couple of snaps are broke but that's an easy fix. the motor however has no spark but trying to figure it out. thanks for all the replies. very helpful, thanks again.
