What makes an Evirude an XP

I noticed an Evinrude 100XP motor the otherday is there anything special about the XP version?

basicly marketing and sales price. minor differences. it is still a 100hp.

Yep, the 100 XP is a graphically enhanced 100hp - no mechanical differences other than the added breather to the cowling. Other XP models got a bit more high performance tweaking (150 XP and the 2.6 XP) with fiberglass reeds, etc.
