What Marinized Auto Engine from Volvo can I swap parts for a 1983 Volvo Penta AQ125A? I heard you can use parts from a same year Volvo 244 DL. Pleased confirm or advise what the 1983 Volvo Penta AQ125A is compatible with.

Depends on what parts you are referring to. Other than the long block, nothing is automotive.

I am looking for tune parts such as: spark plugs, spark plugs wire set, rotor and cap, condensers, points. I heard you can use the same year Volvo 244DL parts but I want to be sure before I order. Any advice?

I have no idea about the distributor, points/condenser but the guy I got my cuddy from said he got the wires & distributor cap from a junk car... As I understand it, the block & heads are the same but may be some difference in the cam. If you can't find the points & condenser locally then see if they match up in appearance with those that are in the automobile version. Points & condenser are not all that expensive and your time is worth something... for me, I'd rather pay a few bucks extra rather than run all over the place trying to save 50 cents.

The AQ125A is the Volvo 2.1L carburated 4 cyl. motor marinized by Volvo Penta.

It uses Bosch W6DC spark plugs.
Plug wires match the automotive version, I used BOSCH Part # 09232
I picked up the marine (sierra brand 18-5284) points, condenser and rotor tune up kit here for a good price. I matched my dist# first, ends in ..8017
The Dist cap is marine specific and will run you 50 bucks if you look around.

There are other items that match the automotive counter part, like the timing belt and tensioner.
