Hello Everyone,
I am in the process of redoing the floor in my 1981 Blue Fin. The oroginal floor was plywood covered with Vinyl. I will be doing the replacement similar. One problem I have been having is getting a clean edge between the different pieces of wood. This is because I am only redoing part of the floor as much of it is still solid.
I am thinking that I need a filler material to go between the sheets of wood. Something like a wood putty that will hold up to the shifting and bouncing of the floor as well as getting wet. I was thinking a putty epoxy would do the job but thought I would ask here first and see if there are any recommended products.
I used a glazing filler to do this same thing when we redid our kitchen but I doubt that material would hold up that well under a marine enviornment.
Any Ideas?
Thanks,
Erik
