What model sylvan pontoon is this say's model 24SL9 it is a 1988 24 footer. Thank you To all The sl is special limited edition 24 ft and the 9 is for 19 inch dia. pontoons. Thanks

The "24" would seem to imply that it is a 24 foot model. Sylvan does generally add the length to their model numbers. Other than that, I can't help.

Is this the same boat you asked us back on 8/1? I'm a bit confused by your question, you ask what model it is but then say it's model 24SL9. Where are you seeing these (?) boats? I have to think that at some point you would talk to the seller and ask them. In my previous reply to you asking this type of question I suggested you call Sylvan, did you do that yet? If it's a Sylvan they should be able to answer all your questions. Also, pics would help.

rickado161, if you want to be taken seriously then you need to put in some effort yourself. As Silvertip has stated, try Google. I doubt you'll find info on such an old boat seeing how the internet really didn't become popular until the mid 90's but it will get you the website for Sylvan Marine. Regardless of what SL9 means (sun lounger?) you either like the layout/price of the boat or you don't.

No Richard only thing I have is Stamped on boat is SYL34896H788 and on placard Model 24SL9 will call smoker craft on Monday no long Sylvan Marine also past owner is dead Thank you Richard

That number is the series number...like a VIN. The manufacture would know exactly what it is with that number.
