What Motor Does This Fit?

I purchased a power head for my 1998 Force 90 HP a few years back from a company that rebuilds them in Florida. When I received the PH, it would not work on my motor. The company went out of business and I was stuck with a PH I could not use. How can I determine what motor it works on? I would like to get this PH to someone who can use it.
Thanks.

If photos would help, I will be glad to post some. I was told it might be for a "Jet" type motor. How can if it is a "Jet" type as opposed to an outboard?

Wish I could edit my previous post. Looks like I left out a few words. How can I tell if it's a "Jet" type as opposed to an outboard?
Was told there would be timing issues since it is for a '90-'94. It's a 13 spline drive shaft. 900-817608-C1 is the only number I can find on the PH.

I don't know about timing issues but your powerhead is for a U.S marine motor and your motor is a Mercury built motor Crankshafts will be different. A Jet is just an outboard mounted on its side.

The pics of the old and new would help.

The
900-817608-C1 is the part# for the block but what block??
Any info you can provide might help??

There is a difference in the cranks for a jet and regular motor.
