Hi all, wanted to find out what oil I should get to mix with the gas for my 1982 two stroke Evinrude 115HP. Also, what is the mix ratio? Also, I need to use lower octane gas, correct?

Thanks,

MAX

Thanks for the response, just so I am clear, I need to buy marine 2 stroke oil (I guess at West Marine, or similiar) to mix with the gas, low octane?

Thx...

MAX

Yes that's correct. Use 2-stroke oil with the TC-W3 label on the bottle like this:

You can get this pretty well anywhere oil is sold. Use 87 octane gas (91 RON rated petrol if outside North America). Mix at a 50:1 ratio. 1 pint of oil to 6 gallons of gas, or 20ml oil per litre of gas if you are metric.
