Hi Guys,
Am i able to use another trim cylinder on my TRS drive that wont cost the earth the part number i have now is 47342-c1 and its seized pretty good the other is missing. any help would be great
Re: What other trim cylinder can i use for my TRS drive?
Same thing. Not sure how or why merc does that with the numbers. There are only 2 different style cylinders for the TRS. The old style which you have that is the high pressure cylinder. It has both trim lines connected at the fore end of the cylinder. They can also be used on either side of the drive. These are what you need.
Then there is the new style which are low pressure. On them one line connects on the fore end and then the other line runs up the out side to the aft end of the cylinder and connects. These are made specific for port or starboard side and each have different part numbers.
