what parts interchangable with evinrude?

im wondering.. since my motor is a omc.. made by evinrude.. i could use there parts.. problem is.. i only found parts from 1965+ and mine is a 1950's motor.. i want to change like the impeller and other parts over time.. thanks

Your engine was more likely made by the Gale division of OMC, fisher. Except for paint and decals it will be nearly identical to a JohnnyRude model from a year or two before it was built.<br /><br />Give us the model number so we can establish what year model your Hiawatha is.
