Finally got the new pro hi jacker 6" jack plate on...RPM went from 5000 to 5400 with plate almost midway up...still holding about 18psi water pressure..I have not changed plugs since I got the boat at end of last year. Im not sure thats whats in there are the correct plugs. The boat is Sloooooow coming out of hole, and was even before the jack plate..even at top end..I can have just a tad of throttle left, and when i hit it..I can heat the engine grunt, but never gain rpm or mph..So, what would be the best plug and gap for this engine...it was just rebuilt about 16mos ago...all new top end etc..but wasnt used much after...I would like to start with plugs and wires and see if that makes any improvements..

Thanks!!!

Thank You for the reply!! I just found Athon08 Plug chart that he posted (very helpful)...I was gonna ask what brand that would be, but seeing his chart I see they are Champion..Once again, Thanks for all the info!!!
