What prop do I have...TA2012 17

1997 Vip Viva, 3.0 LX mercruiser, ALpha drive.<br /><br />The only number I can find on my prop is <br />TA 2012 17. I guess that means 17 pitch but I dont understand the size number. OR...maybe itr is just the mercury part #.<br /><br />I want to start shopping for a prop on EBAY and am not sure what to look for. I have one blade that is pretty chewed up.<br /><br />Thanks in advance for your response.<br /><br />Jay

Jay you are right about the 17, that probly is a 17 pitch prop. You should post your questions in the prop section. Some things to post though would be what WOT throttle you are getting and what you are trying to achieve with the new prop.

That is a 14 1/2" diameter, 17 pitch aluminum prop
