what prop for my boat ?

I have a 1988 20ft Regal Empress with a 4.3l V6 Merc. / Alpha One.<br />Im just wondering how I can find out what style ,size and pitch prop I need.<br /><br />Any recommendations ?<br />Also is there a good online source to order props ?<br /><br />Thanks a lot, Tom

trailerboats magazine July 2005 edition, pick it up, and study it. Very good explanation of props, and their differences.<br /><br />You will need to know more info about your boat, what prop you currently have, how it performs, your WOT rpm, the recommended WOT rpm, and what you plan to do with the boat (i.e. cruising, pull skiiers, boat loaded with passengers a lot, etc...)<br /><br />propellersonline.com

Hi, I live in Warren and there are lots of BoatUS/West Marine stores around us. You can bring your prop with you and they could tell you what what you would need. go to boatus.com to find a store close to you.
