I think the 80 will be okay. It doesnt have to be fast. Just steady. I will pack a lunch!
And yes,for sure, definetly going to grease the prop and shaft IF I can get it on with a little ease. Makes going with the 11p more permenant. I wont be cutting this one off lol.

Yea! Small amount of filing/cleaning the splines out really well and the prop went on pretty easy.
I added tons of waterproof grease just in case!

Next is I need to hual it to the lake and remove my old motor and install.

Re: What prop?

Finally got the motor on today. Took forever on the shore line taking one off and putting the other on! But we got it done. After a few linkage adjustments we went for a very short run due to time. The 80hp was an unbelievable difference. The prop has to be real close.
It has instant response when you hit the gas.
So for right now without having it loaded down it is more than i hoped for and I am sure it will do fine.

Now I need to find a new control box. I knew this one was junk but I thought it would be okay but its not....off to eeeebbayyyy.

Thanks for the pitch advice MH Hawker.

O any time at all, just make sure you use a tach and look at the WOT rpms I am sure you don't want to over rev the motor and fry it.
