Checked kill wire at ign. switch, pulled it and still no spark.
Checked resistance at stator from brn to brn/yellow 1055 ohms.
Checked org to org/blk only 55 ohms not 100 like called for.

Could not get a voltage reading from stator, I tried, but nothing showed

Disconnect the black and yellow kill wire at the engine. Or you can disconnect the harness and jump the starter. Note that If it starts you will have no easy way to turn the engine off with the harness disconnected.

I wonder if I can find out what other colors the timer base might have.
There is not a solid white wire or a solid blue or green on the whole motor but there is a solid purple wire.

Manual states:
"Check the timer bases resistance from the white wire to the blue, green and purple wires. Reading should be approximately the same on all (Typically 1 to 2 M ohms). If the readings are off, reverse the meter leads and retest to see if the readings straighten out."
