I have a 1967 60H.P. evinrude V4. model 60753A serial E05224. i'm wondering what my spark plug gap should be. my manual doesnt say anywhere, i can find th points gap but not the plugs. does any one have this engine or know what it is?
Gap should be .030 unless you are planning to do a lot of trolling then I would gap them at .40 and remember that the plugs of choice for a evinrude or johnson are champion
"Gap should be .030 unless you are planning to do a lot of trolling then I would gap them at .40"

I've seen this advice given several times here on iboats. Would .035" be the optimized setting for both low and high speeds?

Israel Hands
