I just put new stator, trigger and regs in my engine ( 2004 150 Saltwater Merc. carbed engine ) , and just bought a new battery. On my Furuno FF the volts read 14.3 - 14.4 , shouldn't I be seeing 14.6 ?

You are in good shape.

The meters vary a little. Also, if there's blocking diodes so that meters can run off either engine switched power or boat master power, they will be about a half volt low.

When things work well, note where it rides. Then if it goes high or low, check into it.

hope it helps

You have 12 volt batteries. A 12 volt battery is a "battery of six cells" each of which provides 2.1 volts. 2.1 xs 6 = 12.6. If you are taking readings with the engines running the voltages you are seeing are the charging voltages. As long as they are above 12.6 the system is charging. Your numbers are OK. With the engine stopped voltages should gradually drop back to static 12.6.
