what side of battery to hook the bildge up to?

I'm reconnecting my battery...do the things like bildge and stereo go on the positive side?

Yes,If they are wired to the battery and not the dash. They could have both ground and pos. run to the battery.I would follow the wires before you just go connecting stuff...

Fiberglass boats are not like cars where you can ground to the frame. you need to connect to both positive and negative of the battery to complete the circuit.

many boats have ground plates/terminals that go to the battery that you can ground things to.

Make sure you are right the first time. If you start creating sparks there is a very good chance of blowing your rectifier/regulator.

Here is a diagram of a simple circuit. It doesn't really matter what you are connecting, a complete circuit is required. It starts at the positive terminal, goes through a fuse, then a switch, then the device, then back to the negative terminal. The diagram shows two lights. Just replace the lights with your bilge pump or other accessory.

silvertip ??...on the diagram begining "to fuse panel"...exactly what is to fuse panel?

i know kind of dumb ? but i need exact....will it be wires to bus-bar(panel) pos and neg? or panel totally different.

where should the shrink wrap come in.?

will one of those inline fuse setups work, spiced in??
