What size bracket and kicker motor for a 2002 Trophy 1802

I will be out in the atlantic ocean in the winter and I need to install a kicker motor and bracket, any suggestions or people which have the same boat with a kicker. I'm having the kicker for a spare to get me in ,, in case my 125 Merc salwater gets sick..(it hasnt failed me yet):joyous:

Any of the 9.9 high thrust models will work fine. As for the bracket, solid fixed brackets tend to hold up better than adjustable models, but it depends on the exact amount of space you have on your transom as to which type you can use.

Thats kind of a tough one, jeffwish. Ideal situation, you can connect the main and the kicker so you have steering from the helm but with the way your transom is setup, it's gonna be tough. If you're not worried about the steering, I agree with ondarvr.... solid bracket with a 9.9 kicker. I had a different situation and a good friend who's a fabricator and owed me some favors.
