i have a 1987 j90tlcur johnson. I has a red boot with a small glass cylinder fuse in the harness near the power head. What amp fuse is it supposed to be?
Should be a 20 amp. But check the old fuse, it should be written on there what it is. I've never seen a fuse that didn't have the amp rating scribed on one of the metal ends.
