what size jon boat can i put a 40hp johnson on

i have a 40 hp super seahorse and i am wondering what size boat i need and what kind i can use the smaller the better want to use it for the river...thanks

The right fifteen footer will take it, but most likely sixteen. Sixteen's a great size anyway. That's what I'd choose.
