I took some more photos today. Did not come out as well as I hoped as very foggy and wet but may help you some. You will see how I attached to brackets together. This made the motor much more stable mostly on the road and it makes motor eaiser to lift. Ok I see if I can remember how to post photos.
Also you will see that my motor mounting board has room left to cut off and lower the motor as much a 5 inches. It is working pretty well now but may lower a little more after I tripple check that it high enough when on plane.
Running inland I usually do not put the motor all the way down. Even nice days off shore I do now put all the way down still would not mind it being lower when all the way up as long as the prop is out of the water and will not dag.
