I took some more photos today. Did not come out as well as I hoped as very foggy and wet but may help you some. You will see how I attached to brackets together. This made the motor much more stable mostly on the road and it makes motor eaiser to lift. Ok I see if I can remember how to post photos.

Also you will see that my motor mounting board has room left to cut off and lower the motor as much a 5 inches. It is working pretty well now but may lower a little more after I tripple check that it high enough when on plane.

Running inland I usually do not put the motor all the way down. Even nice days off shore I do now put all the way down still would not mind it being lower when all the way up as long as the prop is out of the water and will not dag.

Thank you so much for taking the time and posting the photos it looks very good. I will take foggy weather any day it was our first snow last night very light but cold can not wait until the spring again thank you and happy holidays
BTW can you operate the outboard via the tiller Handel?

Can I use the Tiller handle?
Yes can and do all the time as the shifter and throttle cables are not hooked up.
When Bass fishing and or just going to the beach do not even hook up EZ Steer.
In the full down postion which we only use in the ocean the throttle handle will still reach the top of the transom.
The shifter lever you must reach over the transom and down quite a ways.

One of the Pictures you can see the 5 inch extention to convert to the 20 or long shaft is a little different color.

I noticed the pictures are really too large and messed up the thread making it too wide.
I can either remove the pictures or try and reduce the size to get back to normal width thread if you like.
With it this wide You may not get as many replies as you continue your project.
You could save pictures first if you wish.
