what size motor and year.

A friend of mine acquired an engine with no engine cover. He would like to know the HP and year built. Model # 6504R serial # J0002283.Where can he get a replacement cover? He also need the shift lever, it's broken off. <br />Thanks in advance. !!!

6504 is a 6 HP 1975 Evinrude Model Code. I have a cover that will probably fit.
