What size motor should I buy?!

Probably a stupid question but I have a 14 foot jon boat-will a 2.5 hp push it? If not what size should I buy-sorry new to all of this.

What do you wnat to do with it? It'll push it, not very fast.

There should be a BIA horsepower rating tag on the stern of the boat. This will alow you a variety of options to best suit your needs without overpowering the boat.
