What size socket?

On a 96 115 Johnson Looper..
Got to replace the stator so the flywheel is got to come off..
I need to pick up an impact socket for the flywheel nut..

A 115 looper has the flywheel held on by 5 bolts each with a 1/2" hex head.

A model number would tell us exactly what motor you have.

By your question, you may have a cross-flow 115, not a looper as the looper has the flywheel hidden under a large plastic cover and it is not visible.

Thanks.....Yep,its a looper with optical ignition..
I should have removed the cover before i asked...
Just got the manual for it so i better start reading...
