I'm having a hard time finding the right size wrench to remove the steering coupler nut on a teleflex "the Rack" QC II system. I've measured the outside diameter of the nut with a caliper and it's 1" but I've bought 1", 1 1/16", and 26mm wrenches and they are all too small. I tried using an adjustable wrench on the nut but it is rounding the nut off. I then took the same adj. wrench and compared it to bigger sizes at the store and they all looked too big. I'm tired of buying wrenches and taking them back, anybody know the correct size?
