What spark plug does my Suzuki DT 115 take

Can anyone tell me what size NGK spark plugs my DT 115 Suzuki will take???, can I just use B-8's or B-9's in it???

Without the complete model and year of your motor the correct spark plug cannot be posted. The DT 115 was made from 1981-2000. There is also a DT 115S. You need to be specific and you need to use the correct spark plug or risk damaging the motor.

I have a 1989 DT115, takes NGK B8HS plug

My 1998 DT 115 takes the same NGK B8HS plug.... I do not have my original owner's manual. Does anyone know the correct spark plug gap?

Usually newer motors will be gapped at 0.30 and older motors(lots of hours) will go to 0.35-0.40.

Thanks, I also found the same info on the NGK website. 0.035 it is.

I have a 1989 DT115, takes NGK B8HS plug

I was running those plugs as well then I came across the the recommendations in the manual which said my 87 DT115 called for NGK BR8HS. could this cause the motor to bog down at wot?
