What spark plug for 4.3 Vortec?

What spark plugs are needed for a Mercruiser 4.3 Vortec? My uncle believes it is the Champion MR 43LTS. Just want to make sure before he puts them in tomorrow! Thanks for any info you may provide and have a Happy 4th of July!

I don't have that information on hand...it's at the marina right now...but I purchased it from RapidOMarine and it was a "97 and up" 4.3L

No such animal?! There is an AC-MR43LTS though, with a long thread for certain newer Vortec motors, and an AC-MR43T also, with a standard length thread for the older motors. Both are good commonly used marine plugs, you need to find out which one fits your engine?

Yes I need to see if anyone knows if the AC-MR 43LTS one is the plug I need for my engine. My uncle didn't sound 100% sure about it and I don't want any problems tomorrow that could of been avoided today.

There is an MR43LTS spark plug, it just happens to be made by AC.

IF you don't know what heads you have on your engine, contact RapidOMarine and ask them which plugs are to be used. It's either the MR43LTS or the MR43T (Both AC BTW)

Don, I was referring to the fact that there is no such animal, as a Champion MR43LTS,,,, It is an AC plug number as we both know.
