You know what they say about opinions KaGee.... Mine, use what Ford originally equipped it with and change them every 30K. If you decide on a extended life (platinum) plug, use antiseize.

Even the guys at Autozone are voicing opinions against Bosch. I have tried them, and not anymore. AC Delco now with zero probs

Stick with what Ford put in them KaGee. Newer cars get fabulous mileage out of the plugs. I've never done near as well try to substitute the OEM plugs. Are you even sure you need to change them yet. Some of these new cars will easily do 100K on the plugs. My E150 4.6l V8 went 102K before one started missing under load in forth gear.

Back in the old days it was Champion for Ford and AC for GM. I would just put in a new set of what I took out.

Run what it came with and you won't have any problems. I have never had any luck with Bosch plugs in a domestic vehicle. We run motorcraft in all the fords at work and if for some reason someone puts in autolight they don't seem to last as long. We check and or change plugs in Crown Vic police cars anywhere from 26-35000 miles, due to the fact they idle so much.
If you have Coil on plug ignition system make sure to change the boots.

Well, boot or coil is my problem... got a miss when it's wet. Miss goes away once warmed up. Since I have to take off the upper intake to get at these suckers, I just thought I'd change plugs too.

Sticking with the Motorcraft I guess. Geez it chaps my butt to have to buy anything from FORD parts. Almost as bad as buying Marine parts! :D

Ditto...buy Motorcraft. Not sure where you're at, but you certainly don't have to go to a Ford dealer to buy Motorcraft parts. They're much cheaper and easily available at many auto parts stores. Call around and you'll find 'em.
