I have a 4 year old pair of Oakley "Gas Can" shades and a brand new pair of Oakley "Fuel Cell". Love em both, but the old pair comes with me on my riskier of adventures just in case.

I have been wearing Costa Del?s for about 15-20 years, and they have fixed and replaced the broken ones at least 3 times. The service was awesome, they stand behind the guarantee, well at least for me they did. My frames were so old they didn?t have them anymore, but they offered up several options (with a small fee, I think $50.00) for even better ones than the originals.
The UV and polarized aspects are key for us boaters, fishers, snowmobilers, and the rest. I really can?t see wearing another brand at this point. And there is a time for "not" wearing the expensive ones, canoe trips or on a jet ski are perfect examples of no, no's.

I like my Wiley X's currently have a nice pair of polarized fishing style I love! (My live in girlfriend got them for me last Christmas) Not sure of the model exactly but I've also haa pair of Wiley X's "RomerII" that I loved with changeable lenses.My colurrent ones run around $130 The US military uses a tactical style and alot of bikers also wear the ones that keep the air from drying your eyes out (for all you speed demons) When I workn and doing things that could possibly cause me to lose,break or scratch my Wiley's I wear a pair of safety sunglasses which I have several pair of called,"Hellraisors" they run about $5-6 and you can get them from amazon.com.

Foster Grants have always been my choice, cant go wrong for $20.

I usually get 2-3 years out of them.

Ray Ban for Driving.

Ray Ban "P" for boating. "P" meaning "polarized".

I've never been disappointed with a Ray Ban product.

Mrs. DJ was a huge fan of glitzy/cheesy/cheapo sunglasses-until-she got mildly ill and tried to drive with distorted plastico lenses. "Never again" she said. She's fine now.

However, I put a pair of RB's on her and she's hooked. Now, I can only hope she takes better care of them than her regulars or her reading glasses. If not, I'm in it for thousand$$$$$.

What have I done??????

I wear Natives. I have one pair always in my boat and another in my truck. They have interchangeable lenses, I mostly wear the polarized blue mirror lenses. I cannot step outside during daylight hours without wearing some form of sunglasses; my eyes are very sensitive to sunlight.

I like Calcuttas,$19-$23, they're durable and I like the view. Eventually they do get scratched so I just get another pair,

I wear the tinted safety glass. Ansi approved. Cost about $20-25 and it coms with a strap so you don't drop them or loose them. Best thing ever. Have mine for more than 4 years now and recently I went and bought another one cos the old one is scratched up. Best investment ever.

Same here. I have to have prescription lenses put in mine so they end up being about 3x as expensive as they would be otherwise... and they don't put the little Ray Ban decal back on the replaced lenses. hahaha.
But my Wayfarers have always been great my present ones are tortoise with brown polarized lenses. Actually the "new" Wayfarer. Also have another more sporty looking pair of RB's (buy 1 get one free) as backups. My old Wayfarers went to a watery grave while wakefishing on Mustang Island but they were all beat up and it was time anyway.

Had a pair of Ray Bans..

I think a 180 lb Bigeye Tuna is wearing them cruising somewhere between San Diego & Cabo right now.

I took ZZ Tops advise and "got me some cheap sunglasses"

I have relatively cheap wrap around Polarized for boating.
They work well, doesn't matter if they get damaged/lost and they stay on when I'm sweating.

My BVLGARI's don't go near my boat

Since I don't always wear my prescription glasses (I'm near sighted), I can make a pair last a long time. That's made it a little easier to spend the money on some prescription polarized sunglasses. I have one nice new shiny pair that are for the car ... and one old pair that still "do the trick" for da' boat.
