62 mile race, huh? Sorry, the speakers on my work laptop do not work all the time (only when they wanna get me in trouble). I bet that the night after the race, they are probably still bouncing violently in their sleep. I would not feel real comfortable with another boat directly behind me, not very smart. . .

I like fast boats, so this is not about that. But that helm looks impossible to see out of. I don't think I'd like it at 25 MPH let alone 170ish

I thought the same thing. Super limited visibility when under way. Now imagine trying to dock with the cockpit all sealed like that, yeesh.

Isnt half the fun of boating about enjoying the journey? Sunshine, freshair, etc.. doesnt seem possible with that set up.
