As the title states... Are there any factory units that will fit? I'd like to keep the outboard close to the transom as possible. If I absolutely have to I'll look into aftermarket units.
Thanks!

I am not even sure that motor came with one. If it did it is rare and expensive and parts are mostly NLA. If it was me I would look aftermarket the CMC PT130 is a good unit

Flying is correct. In 73, the 50 hp models had an available (dealer installed) power tilt kit. This did not include power trim. They made one for the short shaft model and another for the long shaft models.

Well i guess I'll just have to go the aftermarket route. Probably best anyhow seeing as it would come Roth a warranty and replacement parts are readily available.

My 1977 55 HP Johnny came with the tilt only and there was no TnT option so I went with the CMC PT130. It really is a nice unit and the set back wasn't a problem on my 16' boat. Your steering torque will vanish being able to trim the motor up and add safety for your prop when coming into shallow water to beach or load.
