What to do with a boat in parts?

I've got a 17' Alumacraft bassboat with a 1999 Mecury 75hp 2 stroke outboard I may sell. The motor has been stored in a heated garage for the last few years. The boat itself is on a trailer in fair condition, no seats, but in parts. Some work was done on the trailer such as new axle, tires on rims, new tongue. I have all the legal paperwork for ownership. I just don't have the time to put the whole thing back together. Any ideas on which way to go?

Ayuh,.... Sell it As parts, it's worth more that way...
A Dead boat, even with a Pile of new parts is pretty much Worthless....

Search for the thread on how to revive an old motor, it's in a sticky somewhere on this site. Read it. Put the motor on a stand (or on the boat), get some muffs & start it. Get it to run good. It's worth hundreds of dollars, if not more. Or sell it "as is" for as much as you can get. Before it developed a piston slap, I valued my 1981 Johnson 70 hp at $700.00-$900.00. Now with a powerhead that needs to be rebuilt it's worth maybe $50.00-$100.00.

How is the hull on the boat? If it's decent, it would probably be worth putting it back together to sell. If you can't put it together, you'd be better off parting out the motor, trailer, any loose bits on the boat, then giving away the hull for free/junking it.
