what to use on a gimbal bearing

i have to replace the gimbal bearing and bellows on my 87' omc cobra what is the best way/tool to use to remove the bearing and put it back in? i haven't been able to spring for the factory omc manual man them things are evidently made of gold

A threaded puller or a slide hammer ,to properly install one you need the proper sized bearing driver

ok thanks wasn't for sure if there was any thing i could damage in there by using a slide hammer on it. i have one but just didn't want to go at it without knowing anything about it. oh yeah i put some of the new e3 diamond fire spark plugs in my truck this past weekend and they made an unbeleivable difference in my truck i wanted to use them in my boat has anyone used them in there boat. or is there any reason i shouldn't
